| What we breed for. Dutch Warmbloods with superior movement, and great show-ability in the Gaited division. Though we only show our horses mainly in Fine Harness and In-Hand classes. The DHH is used undersaddle more lightly. These horses should be animated; not only with great movement, but presence is also a highly coveted trait, as well as flashy white markings from Sa1. sa2/sa2 is adored. Bombroof is not a desired trait as it is difficult to get much animation out of a bombproof horse. The Dutch harness horse should also have admirable conformation, as well as strength, agility, and intelligence. Speed and stamina are not paid much attention. Approved Colors: Mainly bay, black, or chestnut, with few greys, roans, rabicanos, and cremes. Sabinos are coveted, and tobianos are rare. You can read more about the real life DHH here: http://www.dutchharnesshorses.nl/index2.phpalso, look them up on youtube! | |

| Would it be possible to post which colors are NOT accepted? For clarification, are dun, pearl, or champagne dilutions acceptable? I see we can have sabino and tobiano, but not overo or splash and no Lp/PATN?

| Excellent question Eireanne! I have a fabulous LS mare but she has silver. Would that be acceptable? She is a lovely bay and has amazing movement and agility so I really want to use her. | |

| Good question. I will make a post about accepted vs unacceptable colors.
As for silver though, I am not sure yet. I have been reading over RL DHH standards, and none mention it. | |
